About the  Author 

I am in my last year of undergraduate studies at the University of Denver. My degree is in psychology, with minors in biology, chemistry, and writing practices. I am from the Bay Area of California, outside of San Francisco. This fall, I will be applying to genetic counseling master's programs. In my free time, I like to try new coffee shops, play video games, take care of my houseplants, and play with my three-legged cat, Sherlock.
